Imagine pleading with your daughter to get into a closet and hide, telling her, “We are almost 60, we have lived our lives, you need to survive.” That is what Ayala, a long-time resident of Kibbutz Be’eri (which was brutally attacked on October 7) said to her daughter as reports were coming on their phones that terrorists had infiltrated Be’eri.
With a military escort, Elana and I visited Be’eri about six weeks ago. Ayala credits God with saving her life. Her story is chilling.
[Some of the video is not from Be’eri but serves to help illustrate the story.]

Ron and Elana in Germany
Last night, I shared a message similar to yesterday’s blog here in Germany. We are speaking four times in Hitler’s prized city of Nuremberg, challenging the church of Germany to stand with Israel.
Nuremberg held great significance during the Nazi Germany era. Because of the city's relevance to the Holy Roman Empire and its position in the centre of Germany, the Nazi Party chose the city to be the site of huge Nazi Party conventions: the Nuremberg rallies.
It was here in Nuremberg in 1935 that the infamous Nuremberg Laws were passed, which revoked the citizenship of all the Jews of Germany. The Allied Forces argued with the Soviets over where the trials would take place for the captured Nazis. The Allied Forces wanted Nuremberg, and they won out. They chose Nuremberg because of its significance to the Nazis.
Israel on Alert
Please pray for me and Elana over the next few days as we minister here. Pray also for Israel as things are intensifying. It is reported that many people's GPS systems in Tel Aviv (Central Israel) are showing them in Beirut, not in Israel. This happened to me last week while driving in the northern Israeli city of Haifa. I assumed it was Israel’s own doing at the time because we were close to military installations. The government suspects that Iran is behind it and has commanded all combat units to stay on base. The Times of Israel reports, “The move comes amid heightened alert in Israel over a potential Iranian response to the alleged assassination by Israel of its top IRGC commander in Syria, along with five other IRGC officers.” Many expect the war with Lebanon/Hezbollah to greatly escalate in the next few weeks or months.
Tragically, a few days ago, several aid workers were killed in Gaza by an Israeli airstrike. These were part of a group called World Central Kitchen (WCK). IDF Chief of Staff Herzi released this somber apology yesterday.
“I want to be very clear—the strike was not carried out with the intention of harming WCK aid workers. It was a mistake that followed a misidentification—at night during a war in very complex conditions. It shouldn’t have happened.”

Shelanu TV continues to shine the light of Yeshua the Messiah to Israelis as they struggle in these dark times. Below is an encouraging testimony about a religious young IDF soldier our team has been in contact with.
Shalom is an IDF reservist whom we met up with. We've shared about him before...he is a person who really, really wants to know more. You see that he seeks the truth; he seeks God. He wants an experience with God. He sees the testimonies on Shelanu TV of people who have experienced God. He sees all the videos on Shelanu TV’s Facebook channel and he's really jealous of it. He wants an experience with God for himself.
He is a religious Jew who wears a Kippah (Yamaka), so we always have to meet with him in secret, not to say the name Yeshua out loud so that people around him won't hurt him. He has his concerns, but he still comes and meets with us and wants to know. He lives in the Jerusalem area, so we either meet him in that area or on Zoom. We had a few Zoom meetings with him recently. We teach him the basics of the New Testament and the principles of faith.
He's not a believer, but he wants to know more and makes progress every time with something else. Amazingly, he's making progress; he already calls him Yeshua and not "yeshu” (an acronym for “may His name be wiped out). It is amazing that he understands that there is power in faith in Yeshua, and our conversations are moving in a wonderful direction.

I am concerned that Israel will try to wipe out Iran. It seems that they could never win over them, esp. if it is not God's will for them to go at them now. It seems that God protected them so wonderfully now shouldn't they give Him the glory and thank Him and leave it up to God now??
