In some parts of the world, huge events are effective in sharing the good news of Yeshua the Messiah. In Israel, TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA and ONE-ON-ONE social media conversations seem to be the most effective way to introduce people to Yeshua.
This month, our Station Manager, Evan Santoro, shared a couple of encouraging stories—one from a Jewish and one from an Arab perspective.
We have been in touch with a man named Israel for several months. In the past, we’ve shared updates about him, and he continues to show deep interest in faith, engaging with the content on our website. Today, he told us he’s ready to visit a Messianic congregation for the first time to meet fellow believers. Israel lives in Ashdod, so we suggested a Russian-speaking congregation there or a Hebrew-speaking one in Tel Aviv. Since he also speaks Russian, we’re now connecting him with a contact from the Ashdod congregation.
Please pray for Israel, as he’s very open to faith. Our conversations have covered many topics, including the identity of the Messiah and questions about the evil in the world. He’s come to understand that God is not merely punitive but good, and everything has a purpose. Each video he watches seems to open his mind further, and now he’s ready to explore a Messianic congregation. This is a huge breakthrough for him! Please keep Israel in your prayers, may he come to know the true Messiah of Israel!
Johnny, is an Israeli Arab from northern Israel who frequently orders books from us. He feels called to share the gospel with Israelis, including religious Jews, and asked for Hebrew-language books to help him in this mission. It’s incredible how sometimes, those who are not Jewish, play a vital role in bringing others to faith. We’re supporting Johnny by providing the books, pamphlets, booklets, and all evangelizing material we have on hand. We look forward to hearing miraculous stories of people coming to faith. Please pray for his outreach efforts and special guidance from the Holy Spirit.
As we finish this year and look ahead to 2025, please pray that Evan and our team would have heavenly inspiration as they continue to develop Hebrew content that appeals to all Israelis.
