Day 75 — Israelis unite to help IDF
It is amazing to see this country come together. We understand that we are fighting for our existence. No one takes joy in causing suffering for Palestinians, but sadly, we have no other option than to try and destroy Hamas. While our young men and women are fighting the battle, ordinary citizens are doing what they can to help.
This afternoon I sat down with Raz Am Shelem, a university student who started a small nonprofit on October 7. He and his friend Ziv have been providing thousands of meals and all kinds of other needed equipment to soldiers on the front line. Unfortunately, their two primary donors can no longer support them.
Messiah’s Mandate has agreed to donate $50,000 to provide winter clothes to thousands of soldiers in Gaza. We will be buying sleeping bags, gloves, coats, and other equipment to protect them from the cold. We have to make this payment within a week. You have shown your love for the Jewish people in an amazing way over the past two months. I know that you love the soldiers who are fighting to defend their country—they are fighting for those who were killed and kidnapped on October 7.
Thank you so much for standing with Israel in her most critical hour since 1948.
