From Homosexuals to Haredi, Israelis are Searching for TRUTH

It’s one of my favorite times of the month! We just received an update from our station manager at Shelanu TV about how Israelis are engaging with our 24-7 Hebrew-speaking gospel-sharing channel.

While our country is filled with Jewish people, that doesn’t always mean they are religious. Actually, it’s quite the opposite. Most Israelis are culturally Jewish and religiously “none.” And then, there is a visible and vocal “core” of very religious Jewish people—the Ultra-Orthodox or Haredi.

Evan Santoro, our station manager, shares a few testimonies from the interactions our staff have been having online with viewers:

A young man from Bnei Brak, an ultra-Orthodox Haredi city near Tel Aviv, has been engaging deeply with our content. He frequently watches our videos and asks questions about faith. Though he hasn’t read the New Testament before, he requested a copy via email but was concerned about receiving a physical book. To ensure his safety, we provided him with a digital version that he could access on his phone. He was very grateful for this, and we continue to have ongoing discussions about faith. While he is still hesitant to meet in person due to fear, we pray that in time, he will feel comfortable enough to take that step.

Another young man contacted us saying he was watching our channel and was intrigued by a personal testimony of a young man who lived as a homosexual, and God turned his life around. He said he only opened the channel at the end of the video and was bummed out he couldn’t watch it all. He requested we send him an online link to watch the whole thing, as it was very interesting for him. We sent him the link, and he was very grateful and happy.

These young men heard the GOOD NEWS of Yeshua and his kingdom because of the generosity of supporters like you.

Your donation TODAY will help us continue to get the gospel of Yeshua to the 9 million Israelis who are waiting for GOOD NEWS.

As the Apostle Paul said,

“But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them?” (Rom 10:14-15 MSG)

Let’s tell them together! Partner today and make an eternal difference in the lives of the Jewish people.
