I want to commend my good friend and colleague Oded Shoshani for going into a very difficult environment at the Palestinian “Christ at the Checkpoint” conference, sharing the word of God boldly, but with humility. I also want to say it took courage for organizers to not only invite him, but they tweeted out (see below) the major points that he made, even though they were contrary to the goals of the conference. However, it would have been great to see them tweet one of the most powerful quotes by Shoshani:
“After 2005, the number of Israeli killed by suicide bombings dropped by something like 99%, it’s as simple as that. The wall is only 3% of the fence, the fence is part of the Israeli security system, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

I invite you to visit the Messianic body in Israel. Come see what we believe and what God is doing. Oded Shoshani #CATC2014 — Christ@theCheckpoint (@ChristAtCheckpt) March 13, 2014
What if 1947 UN plan was accepted, what if no war in 1948 or '67, what if no suicide bombers killing civilians in 2000-5? Shoshani #CATC2014 — Christ@theCheckpoint (@ChristAtCheckpt) March 13, 2014
Messianic Jewish and Palestinian believers need each other. We need practical love, surpassing differences and theology. Shoshani #CATC2014 — Christ@theCheckpoint (@ChristAtCheckpt) March 13, 2014
