I want to ask you to pray today for Shalom. I don't mean Shalom, as in peace. But a young man named Shalom. Shelanu TV’s station manager, Evan Santoro sent me and other board members this yesterday.
The most touching testimony this month is about Shalom, a guy we've mentioned a few times. He's a religious guy from Jerusalem who has met with us several times. Despite his religious background, he's very interested in Yeshua. He does a lot of army reserve duty and is stationed at one of the most heavily bombed outposts in the north. What moved us was that he found the time to meet us in Tel Aviv. This was his first time coming to our congregation, breaking yet another barrier. A religious Jewish man coming to a Messianic community is a huge barrier to overcome.
He had a lot of questions about our faith. We sat with him and answered his questions as best as we could. It was a very blessed time with him. We are seeing his progress: he continues to pray.
When he's alone on reserve duty, in secret, he reads the New Testament. His goal remains the same: he wants to feel and know the living God! In fact, he saw all the testimonies on our "Shelanu TV" website—testimonies of Jews who came to Yeshua. He said what touched him the most was hearing people say they felt God and saw He is real. He truly wants to experience and feel that. Let's continue to pray for Shalom for a true revelation of the Living God!
There are more like Shalom out there watching Shelanu who may not contact us. Last month, we had over 30,000 views of our channel. Over 25,000 saw us on Instagram and over 20,000 on TikTok. We are planting seeds every day.
The people of Israel are hurting. And what they need cannot be found outside of Yeshua. We have to continue to share his message with him. Your gift to Messiah’s Mandate enables Evan and his team to continue creating powerful content and sharing it online. As you consider partnering with us this month, please say a prayer for Shalom, that he will find true Shalom in Yeshua the Messiah.
