In today’s episode of “The Jewish Aversion to Jesus…Why?” we explore a phrase that has been misunderstood for 1900 years! Two words that have led to the persecution and annihilation of millions of Jewish people…and their resistance to the gospel…
“The Jews”
When the Jewish writers of the New Testament spoke of “the Jews,” who were they talking about exactly?
The answer might surprise you!
And if the truth were known, it could be a spark that would set off a revival among the Jewish people like the world has never known.
Thank you for loving Israel and praying for eyes to be opened that my people would see Yeshua and know Him as He is—the Messiah!
The Hebrew Israelites were olive skinned people who browned easily in the sun, if they were people of the land, farmers, shepherd's, fishermen, etc.. They were Middle Eastern people.. definitely not white, definitely not blue eyed.
Thank you again, Ron, for speaking these things. I first encountered this mystery in Dan Gruber's excellent treatise, "Copernicus and The Jews." I cringe now recalling an Easter song in church depicting the crowds lining the streets of Jerusalem berating Yeshua. Not so! The only record of that event is in Luke, and he writes that the people on the street were lamenting what was occurring.
Yes, it was just the authorities who wanted to crucify Jesus, and only a few of them.
Paul, a Jew fought, that the Gentiles could have the salvation promised to Abraham without becoming Jews( Circumcision is nothing...1 Corinthians 7: 19 a); BUT Paul sad something more: "...and uncircumcision is nothing ".( 1 Corinthians 7:19b) This mean precisely, that there's no need for Jews to become Gentiles in order to be saved.
Yes there has been a theft, and its more than the name of the Messiah. The people who say they are Jews, acccording to scripture are not the true Jews. Messiah was not a Jew, but He was Judean. The people of the land were not "white" until the so called people returned "white". Hebrew Israellites the descendent of Israel are "black people"
